Empowering Women to Thrive in Your Second Act
I’m Jessica Waugh, a Functional and Integrative Health Practitioner, Certified Menopause Specialist, and Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. My expertise lies in identifying the underlying patterns and connections within the body, helping women navigate the menopause transition, optimize their health, and reduce their risk of chronic disease—so they can step into their second act with confidence, energy, and resilience.

My Journey: From Personal Experience to Professional Expertise

My own menopause journey began unexpectedly early—at 32. I noticed subtle shifts in my body, yet medical guidance often overlooked what I was experiencing. At 34, when symptoms like vaginal dryness and decreased libido disrupted my life, I sought answers, only to be dismissed with statements like, "Well, you've been with your partner for many years; that's normal."

At the same time, many of my clients were expressing similar struggles—fatigue, mood swings, brain fog, and a sense that something was off. This was a wake-up call.
I dove deep into understanding the complex interplay of hormones, stress, trauma, metabolism, and lifestyle, earning advanced certifications in functional health, menopause, and chronic disease prevention. Along the way, I confirmed what I had long suspected: I was in perimenopause—something I would have realized sooner if the women in my family had discussed their experiences, as every one of them had completed menopause by 45.

What I Do: Connecting the Dots for Your Health

Doctors often focus on symptom management, but my role is different. I take a systems-based approach—looking at your body as a whole, identifying root causes, and helping you make informed, strategic choices that support your well-being.

Through my PAUSE Wellness Framework™, I guide women through:
-
Prioritizing key areas of imbalance (hormones, metabolism, stress, etc.).
-
Assessing symptoms, lifestyle, and lab markers to spot patterns.
-
Understanding what your body is communicating and how to respond.
-
Strategizing sustainable, personalized health solutions.
-
Educating & Empowering you to take control of your well-being.

A Collaborative, Holistic Approach

While coaching is a powerful tool, true transformation often requires a multifaceted approach. This is why I partner with other skilled practitioners, including medical doctors, hormone specialists, therapists, and movement experts, ensuring that my clients receive comprehensive, integrative support beyond what traditional coaching alone can provide.

Your Second Act: More Energy, More Clarity, More You

I firmly believe that no woman should be dismissed or gaslit about her health. If you’ve been told, “That’s just aging” or “Your labs are normal” while still feeling off, I see you, I hear you, and I believe you.

Your second act is not about slowing down—it’s about stepping into your fullest potential. Whether you're navigating perimenopause, struggling with unexplained symptoms, or seeking long-term health resilience, I’m here to help you reclaim control over your body and your life—with science-backed insights, strategic action, and unwavering support.
